YF Neighborhood offers tangible ways to help neighbors in need. Our Something To Eat food packing program was created to help fight food insecurity by providing shelf-stable and nutritious meals to our local food pantries and communities.
City Wide Event In Spring 2025
Join us in 2025, for a city-wide event to supply area pantries with thousands of shelf-stable meals. In lieu of smaller, year-round parties, this time we’re focused on one BIG, all-hands-on-deck event! Perfect for families, groups, churches, businesses, etc. Don’t miss this awesome event!
"Here was an opportunity to do something great for the community, great for my grandson, and to do it together."

Something To Eat Volunteer
MAKE AN IMPACT
Our monthly food distribution in Kansas City, KS offers hands-on volunteer opportunities year-round for all ages. Youthfront’s grandparent ministry plays a key role in supplying volunteer needs. On the second Wednesday of every month from 1-4pm, help sort fresh fruits and vegetables knowing you’re making a difference for more than 350 households facing food insecurity.
